From my garden, more than I thought

late summer bouquet watercolor

Inspired by E.’s post of the last cuttings from her garden before moving aboard a sailboat I scavenged a few things from my own.  The thing is, this year my garden was barely there. However, this morning I found, paltry as it all looks in the garden setting, that I was able to fill a spice jar with nasturtium, marigold (the one plant that truly thrived this year), a bit of pink phlox, balloon flowers, small butterfly bush blooms, and one imagined blue thing.

My fingers still smell like Nasturtium.

I put the spice jar bouquet on one of the french cloths, 8″x10″, watercolor on cradled aquaboard.
