Intermediate level blundering

From today’s watercolor class at the botanical gardens. While discussing the fact that the students are no longer beginners, and that in general, despite experience one blunders along, we arrived at the phrase “intermediate level blundering”.  Some days have more blundering than others, today, despite the glorious plants around me, I was not able to make much appear on the page.  It was wonderful, however, just to be there in the green house at the botanical garden in Roger Williams Park, working with the plants.

  1. I think that is a fabulous learning experience. I feel it often, especially when trying to learn to play music at my age.
