Tree lined street: now and later

I started this sketch on the schoolyard friday afternoon then developed it a bit more last night. This past year, more and more often, I have been enjoying finding something in my sketchbook already existing to work on. Some days it is crucial not to have to start with a blank page.  And when I do start with a blank page it helps me to know that these marks do not need to be anything more than a beginning.
